The Edmonton Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in solving the murder of Robert Michael BRODYK
Homicide detectives are investigating after the body of 56-year-old Robert Michael Brodyk was found in a house near 65 Street and 144 Avenue, Edmonton, AB. The discovery was made at about 6:30 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2007, after family of the victim went to check on him, as he had not been heard from in a few days. The Medical Examiners report states blunt force trauma as the cause of death.
Investigators seek possible murder weapon
Homicide detectives are seeking to recover an item believed to be stolen from the residence. A wooden baseball bat (below) with red tape around the handle and an oval logo along the side is missing from the residence of 56-year-old Robert Michael Brodyk and investigators believe it to be connected to the homicide.
