Homicide detectives continue to investigate the circumstances leading to the stabbing death of 20-year-old Edward Bone.
Background: At 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007, EPS Homicide detectives were called to an assault in the area of 105 Street and Jasper Avenue, Edmonton. The caller reported a man in his 20s was passed out in front of a downtown hotel. The victim who is known to police had apparently been stabbed. He died in hospital. No weapon was found.
Meanwhile only minutes later a 35-year-old female was struck by a vehicle in the area of 106 Street and Jasper Avenue, Edmonton. The woman suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police believe the vehicle may have been associated with the homicide.
