The investigation continues into the suspicious death of a male earlier this month and detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and person pictured to the left and below.
A new security camera image is being released in the hopes someone might recognize the vehicle of interest. Investigators believe the vehicle is associated to the male person of interest they are also seeking.
The vehicle is either a Ford or Mazda small-sized truck. It is light blue or green in colour and is missing the tailgate.
The male (to the left and below) is described as Caucasian, 25-30 years-of-age, with short dark hair and an average build. That night he was wearing a black jacket with white stripes, white t-shirt with a black design, blue jeans, and black and white runners.
“We have interviewed a number of individuals who were at the club that evening and to further the investigation into the suspicious death, we would like to identify and speak to this man who was known to be a patron at the club that night,” says EPS Homicide Section.
Investigators do not believe that anything occurred inside Showgirls.

Background: In the late evening of Tuesday, July 7, Southeast Division officers responded to a report of an injured male outside of an apartment building on 79 Avenue and 71 Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the injured but conscious 40-year-old male laying in the front entry of the building. He was taken to hospital and later died of his injuries. It appears that the male had been at a nearby gentleman’s club, Showgirls, earlier that evening and left the club on foot. Shortly after the man left the club he arrived at the apartment building suffering from injuries. The medical examiner conducted an autopsy and the cause of death is being withheld pending further investigation.
